My future trip to New York

My trip to New York was awesome. On the day that we will be leaving we will wake up close to the time that I usually get ready for school, but I was not really going to school which was awesome. Anyways we got up and ate some breakfast, next we washed our dishes, put them in the dish washer, and went to pack our clothes. We were going to be gone two weeks so I packed a lot of clothes just in case.

When we were ready to leave I went to my mom’s room and asked if she was ready? She said she was and I asked if she would like me to carry her bag. She said that she got it and we loaded all our suit cases in my grandpa’s Chevrolet truck and my mom’s Chevrolet truck and began our journey up to New York City. After about 3 hours I asked if we could get some lunch. My mom asked, “What do you want do you want to eat for lunch.” I asked, “What is there around to eat. “Well there’s Cracker Barrel, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Whataburger.” I said “Cracker Barrel, Cracker Barrel!!” She said, “Ok then”. I called my grandparents and asked them to pull over to get some lunch. After we parked, we went inside and sat down to order lunch. I ordered a medium sweet tea, chicken fingers, and fries. It was so good that I almost fell asleep in the truck as we drove some more to New York. Later after we drove some more we stopped at a hotel called the GRAND INN.

We got two rooms, one for my grandparents and one for me and my mom. My mom’s room was just a two bed, one bath while my grandparent’s was a two bed, two baths. When we woke the next morning we got showered, got dressed, and went down to eat some breakfast the next thing we did was we went up gathered our things to leave and we left. A few days later we arrived at the so called “Big Apple” and it was such amazing sites that there was even a Big Toys are us and there in the window of the shop was a brand new mining set and it awesome looking. Anyways when we got to the hotel it was a four star hotel. It was such a beautiful hotel that my jaw dropped when we entered the rooms that I almost fainted. Once we set our things down we got in the trucks and drove to the 911 memorial to see what it was like. It was such a beautiful site. When we arrived we looked at the base of the once standing towers and read most of the names of the people who lost their life that fateful day. Then we entered the museum. There was a piece of the north and south tower right at the entrance. They were so tall. Then we explored the first floor some more then went below the base of the once standing towers and found a fire truck that was crushed by the north tower and it was named BIG RED. Then after spending about two hours exploring we left and went back to the hotel spent a few more days then left to go home.
